Dec 26, Chignudul mine, 5200 ft., 4 1/2 mi S W. Bisho Iago being at the present time in cave along with the pipistrelli described above. The temperature at this point was still 58°. The animal was in a similar position as the first. A third Corynorhinus was found in a 'drift' near the tunnel entrance. This animal was only about 20 feet from the tunnel entrance. The temperature here was 55°. This animal proved to be a ♀ (no ends) which and was hanging on the side of the tunnel but with head down, but attached similarly to the above two - The animal appeared sick and sluggish. One of the animals ears had a large triangular piece missing from the upper corner. This seemed to be due to some infection since the margin of the missing portion
