Hooper 1934 Dec 26 Chipmunk mine, 5 200 ft., 4 1/2 mi. S W. Bishop Imps 6. Cff Jangston hills west of Bishop. The property is now operated by Bill Stowell. These shaft were all short now over 75 feet -- Sauger shafts are present on this property but all are being worked at present. No bats were found although the floors of the tunnels were black with dropping in several spots. We next visited the Chipmunk mine after returning to Bishop for lunch.
