Jaeger 1939 Dec 25 Owens R. 4100 ft., 2 mi. E. Bishop, Inyo C., Calif. The trap line set the evening before yield 3 Dipodamys 1 & 2 ? - All three mice seemed to be sub-adults. Other traps were not bothered - Dec 26 Chipmunk mine, 5200 ft., 4 1/2 mi. SW Bishop, Inyo C., Calif. During the day I visited 8 old mine shafts and several barrows in the search for bats. Messrs Bill Reynolds, and Greg Neil, of Bishop, took me to call the old mine shafts with which they were acquainted as well as several other places they had seen bats on other occasions. We first visited an old cement silo on Bill Reynolds ranch. He had seen bats (described as light colored with 1 foot wing spread) in this building early in the fall; however we found none here. Next we visited 3 old mine shafts at the old Bishop Ingram Property & in the
