above that the ground squirrel was shot while running for cover after I had chased him out of a [illegible] tree to a fallen, decayed tree.
The area was thickly overgrown with Douglas fir and Redwood. Also white oak, manzanita and madrono were found in the vicinity.
From Teneray we returned to our camp at Guerrero. No traps were set.

Early in the morning we returned to Berkeley via the same route we had come.
