Guernerville, Mt. Sonoma to Calif.
Beside these two trees
numerous bugs, Umbellularia
Californica, a species of
Arethostaphalus, Madron,
and Poison Oaks were
noted. Vegetation was
very dense on the
hills on either side
of the river.
About 3/4 miles S W of
Guernerville or 1/4 mi NE
of Guernwood park?
I set out 25 Museum
special traps. The
traps were set near
the river in a part
of the river bed now
nearly dry and with
only stagnant pools
and muddy areas which
were overgrown with
cattails and young
willows and another
marsh plant which I
did not recognize.
