June 28 11 mi. NE Weed, ft. Disbroux Co., Calif. At this locality I set out 21 museum special traps. The traps were set approximately 15 feet apart. Many large burrows of Dipodomys were seen while setting traps. Most of these were found under clumps of sage. The soil was sandy, bet rather dark in color. Four Dipodomys heermanni were taken in the above trap lines. All traps were baited with oats. Of the catch 1 was and adult ♂ and 3 were adult ♀. Of these take 3 were from traps set under sage brush and 1 was taken in the open; away from any vegetation.
