Cooper 1939 Dipodomys arlitti Wash. July 24 2 mi SSE Burbank, 350 ft., Walla Walla Ca. Four specimens were taken out of 40 traps set in this area. The region was flat except for low rolling sand dunes and occasional small ravines. The soil was dry and sandy Sage brush and bunch grass was the only vegetation. Traps were set at 20 pace intervals baited with rolled oats. Burrows were numerous, most of the specimens were taken in traps set in the open away from burrows and brush. Of the 4 taken 3 were males and 1 was a female,
