November 1934 Perognathus parvus July 24 2 miles SE Burbank, 350 ft. Walla Valley Co. Wash. Fifteen specimens were taken out of 40 traps set in dry sage brush and bunch grass. Burrows were numerous, The [illegible] soil was dry and sandy. The terrain was flat except for rolling sand dunes and occasional slight ravines. Traps were set at intervals of 20 paces irrespective of vegetation and burrows.
