Hougher 1934 Glance Orange Satyrinus. July 28 wildcat sp., ft, Columbias co., Wash. An adult ♀ was taken in a rat trap baited with prunes, which was set at the base of a large Douglas fir. The area in which the 2 traps were set was on the east slope of the ridge on which the roadway ran and had large Douglas firs, ( 3 feet diameter at base), and Spruce growing close together ( 30 foot interval). A small shrub resembling nine maple grew abundantly under the trees. Except only 2 traps were set, these were 50 feet apart.
