5 taken (with 33 P. truei) in 100 mouse traps set in Adenostoma, Carnotius sp.? and Cercocarpus dumosa. Most were taken under logs, but "right beside" traps holding P. truei.

9 taken in 81 traps set in old plum and apple orchard and along road in scrub oak, Calif. bay, live oak, poison oak, madrone, manzanita, toyon; debris under trees abundant. 110 traps set in old grape orchard with Adenostoma, poison oak, yerba santa bordering it yielded 2; these caught near border of orchard.
