Last night Jack C. von Bloeker and myself set out 100 "Benson-Russell" live mouse traps in the Salicornia on Richmond salt marshes. More specifically, the locality was Imi. E mouth San Pablo Cr., salt marshes, Contra Costa Co., Calif.
The area trapped was approximately 2 feet above high tide level. Traps were placed about 6 feet apart. Found in traps this morning: 1 Microtus c. paludicola, 4 Reithrodontomys m. longicaudus, 6 Mus musculus.
