This specimen was collected in Salicornia marshes ½ mi. S of Giant, Contra Costa Co., Calif. (Giant is about 2½ mi. N of San Pablo.) It was collected on Jan. 17,
and kept in captivity until Jan. 21.

The above two specimens were collected by Mr. V. Moubray on Jan. 31, 1937, at 2 mi. SW Ross, Marin Co. They were found in midday under an oak tree on top of the ground and were still alive when brought to M.V. Z. They are preserved "in fluid".

Found on sidewalk this morning almost dead, probably as a result of crushing by some object. A heavy rain last night may have driven the animal out of its place of retreat. Locality: Oxford Ave. + Virginia St., Berkeley.
