Oct. 22 Strawberry Canyon, no. Pool, Berkeley Alameda Co., Calif.
Set 17 snap traps along old canyon road +
along the fence south of the Pool. Caught
2 juv. Peromyscus truei, 1 Peromyscus
californicus, + 2 Peromyscus maniculatus. Two
of the traps were lost. The truei were
caught in a thicket of leafless shrubs
beneath a Quercus.
