Chatin and I both simultaneously shot at this rabbit as we were entering the ranch at this spot. It had just run across the road and a shot ways up into the Artemisia caned slopes. July 23 Snake R, 350 ft., 1 mi. N Burbank, Walla Walla Co., Wash. Shot this specimen along the edge of an alfalfa field which is about 50 feet from the Snake River. The specimen was a large female with 6 embryos x 50 m.m.).
