Perognathus parvus
July 25 5 1/2 mi. N Pasco, 500 ft., Franklin Co., Wash.
Set traps north of the Snake River at
this locality in Artemisia, cheat grass, and
juniper shrub, with a sandy soil, and
caught a large number of Perognathus
parvus, most of which were subadults,
rather than the most being juveniles as
in previous trapping were considerable
were caught at this time of year. This
may indicate that at this locality which is
more northerly and easterly than the other
localities I've caught Perognathus parvus
in large series, the breeding season is earlier.
