SCFS and vicinity, Nevada Co., California \n♂ Eutamias quadrimaculatus in trap #21, rocky slope in mature Jeffrey pines near top All traps collected and brought back to SCFS. Trap #25 lost: string gnawed through or broken, possibly by a N. cinereus. \nSummary of captures: Meadow: 1 P. maniculatus, ♀ 1 M. montanus ♀ Chapparal: 5 P. maniculatus, 3♂ ♀♀ 2 E. amoenus, ♂♀ 1 E. quadrimaculatus ♂ \nadditional species caught: Sorex vagrans in meadow 1 E. amoenus found dead under willows in meadow near SCFS, wounded on lower jaw.
