E. Keske 1981 Journal Yucca Valley, 7.5 mi E Coso Jct., to Darwin Falls, 24 May Inyo Co., California closed but empty. Spent the morning checking all the animals people caught, showing how to ID, etc. Total captures were 78 out of 140 traps. I caught 1 Peromyscus manipulates 5 Perognathus longimembris 1 male 4 female 2 Perognathus formosus 2 female 1 Dipodomys merriami 1 female, early pregnancy 5 Dipodomys microps 3 males scrotal, but in late stages of regression 1 Neotoma lepida 1 male, scrotal other species captured were Peromyscus boylei and Peromyscus crinitus; Onychomys torridus.
