Bufo & Kyla were about 1/2 mile from nearest observed [illegible] surface water at this time. Near arroyo bottom, in 12" x 48" stagnant pool filled w green algae, took number of small Rana, imm. T. hamnohric, and baby turtle. In running stream its arroyo bottom toole more Rana, and along margins toole a few lizards. In rockpile near stream took Trimorphodon (found well down in pile).
Two light showers occured during day. When returning to car at about 5:00 (just after second shower), took Kyla aronicolor sitting exposed on top of rock in bottom of small arroyo (1 pool of stagnant water about 100 ft. or down arroyo was only nearby water noted).
Returning to Puerto de Cochon, collected two large Bufo from under large boulder in arroyo bottom (these were later lost). About 1/2 mile from Puerto de Cochon (rd. to San Marcos), collected 1 Rana from muddy roadside pool.
On returning, found that one of the smaller de Aquino boys had brought home a racer which had been killed in town during the day.
