Aberdeen 1950 Journal swimming on the reservoir. Numerous bluebirds seen, 2 (a pair) of Cassin Finches seen out on sage flat. Walked up to Upper Boca Springs, following the road. Near springs saw a small group of Mountain Bluebirds around old fallen snags. Junco, Audobon Warblers active in willows at spring. Returned to car at about 5:00, drove out via lower road (near reservoir). Saw shoulders on the water, & Salt shot a Brewer Sparrow on the sage flat. Spent night in tourist court at edge of Reno Nevada. April 25 - Drove back to Sacromento. Saw wren not taking dust bath at woods edge very near Boca. At about 12:30, left Sacramento & drove north through Red Bluff. Camped beside on W. side Sacramento river at jelly, Tehama Co. saw large Bigho horses (?) by Complitght, Billflogs in swish. April 26 - Looked for Salamanders out on lower river from camp. Collected one Ryla under board & 1 Bullfrog from water both at camp. Trolled
