taken under rocks and hopping on the
ground under dense vegetation of lower
levels of canyon wall (see species
accounts of "Hyle minuta" and Bufo-
"micropunctatus" for description of habitat.

light coppery

Entire dorsal pigmentation darker than #1582; red
only a little more intense than as shown on #1582.
Cream instead of yellow (#1582) on hands and feet.
Iris pigmented (distribution) as above, but all
pale gold colored guanophores - no coppery tint.
