Hendrickson 1950 Journal Nov. 21 Buenavista, 4600 ft., Meta, Colombia, S.A. sharp, returned thorns. I collected tadpoles(*) and some small catfish(# ) from the creek bed, and spent about one hour in a fruitless attempt to definitely connect (RES) Hyloxalus granuliventris . Returning to the farm at about 5:00 (?) P. M. we caught a ride back down to Villavicencio on a truck from Bogota, paying 50 centavos apiece for the ride. It takes about 6 hours to drive from Bogota to Villavicencio, about 8 or 9 to make the return trip. "Villavicencio" is commonly shortened to "Villavo" by the local people. For this locality see spaces accounts of lizard eggs, Leptodactylus obscura, sweet water tadpoles, D. hyloxoides (RES) g ranuliventris , Colinus cristatus, Crotophaga ani, and L ynallaxis albescens.
