Hendrickson 1950 Journal 64 Nov. 19 Villavicencio, 1600 ft., Meta, Colombia, S. A. At about 7:00 P.M., Dr. Stebbins and I worked in a field and along a creek just S. of town. We heard two kinds of calls which sounded like a Microhyla, but were unable to find the callers. Saw three small crocodilians in a quiet pool in the creek, but we were unable to catch any with a snare, and had no gun with me. See species accounts of L. lineata perplexa, L. obscurea, B. marinae, Dora palmigera, H. microcephala hendricksoni, & H. crepitans. Nov. 20 Visited Instituto in 4: M. Hector Iceba, his wife and little girl were there, photographing boas (Constrictor imperitor subsp.) We took a series of "snake-charmer" photos and some simulated natural poses. Dr. Zulusta offered me a specimen if we want it. Those boas were taken at Restrepo, Meta, 500 meters, on about Sept. 20 of this year. Most of afternoon spent writing notes and working with specimens.
