B. Hamilton 1967 Journal June 29 N512, Department of Limé, Elév 1000'-3000' (26 Km E of Limé on road to Chosica) Are one or two small Western Orestes observed this plant. All plants are very inconspicuous and very difficult to see. On this occasion distinct different from others never heard but now never seen. At about 3000' the road was blocked by rock but the vegetation now so sparse we decided to try to find a little place. species: cunicularis On the way down at 2770' I shot a Barasinga Owl, my #7 from the side of the road. Another flew away when this one did. It is hard to imagine what they could find to eat in a desolate place like this. Ray found a pellet which contained some insect remains and some small pelvic bone (about 1/2
