When swimming on surface it looks something like this: water-lie 8:10 reappeared just off the house, swam lazily around N side of a little island & was lost to sight 8:12 a doe appeared on N side of stream & crossed to S side, just up from blasted dam. 8:16 saw beaver on S end of blasted dam & freshly cut willow & which it entered water & was lost to
