Lower Am 6:20 PM a flash trap which was set up by 6:50 + was in old tree at main pond. 7:00 muskrat work- ing at E side of lodge, I is working near shore. 7:08 bit in main pond & goes over main dam. 7:15 2 rats chasing each other around. 7:20 2 adults beaver in main pond and both went over main dam. First over dam had tail marked : [illegible] possibly other notches. 7:25 took telephoto of a muskrat. Muskrat feeding near main lodge at Lower Colony One rat went up over small dam and the other is eating grass near lodge. 7:30 frogs calling and Coopers hawks flew by me into the trees. 7:35 bit in main pond. Deer have been crashing all over the countryside this vee. 2 left about 7:45.
