Retrieved camera & equipment. Aug 30 6 PM. Large beaver in pond next to the trail which skirts the hill. No tail marks. Lower. 6:20 PM climbed a tree in the willow jungle and about 40 paces upstream from the burnt snag dividing my arbitrary "old" + "new" sections. Tree commanded a view of two of the north channels. 7:20 beaver ripples seen dabs at 7:37 + later occasionally, but no beaver actually.
