Hall 1955 Aug 10 Sagehen Creek, 3 mi NW Hobart Mills, Nevada Co., Calif. R'slide pond & dives over king. Then I went to the lodge & his willow cutting. 7PM heit up over king. A large leave, probably the & swims up main channel thru blasted dam, returning 7:05 & large branch of willow cutting which he took into lodge. 7:15 Edge mark leaves lodge, swims down, then up pond to dive into island den. 7:25 another kit up over king & into lodge. 7:27 & W. tan- ager calling in lead lipole nr. middle channel. Yellow below, dull y. head & olive above & 2 prominent wing bars. to N dam 7:33 heit emerges from lodge, swims up, & bade, goes ashore at N dam to cut willow which it brings back to lodge. 7:35 another heit appears from near N dam & dives into lodge. Then Edge comes out, sees a fisherman, who's working up- stream on N shore, & splashes repeatedly. Kit noted swimming at blasted dam. Edge floats till fisherman makes way upstream past this pond, then dive at 7:45 as he leaves. 7:50 midmark appears in pond but dives. 7:50 And. Warbles in lipole. 7:54 mid appears in pond, adds a stick to the crossing
