Hall 1955 264 Apr. 15 Sagenen Creek, 3 mi. NW Hobart Mills, Nevada Co., Calif. Upper To evaluate extent of coverage of spoke samples, it would be a good idea this summer to count the no. of asp cut beyond 100' of shore so far. Probably would amount to less than 5% of total cut. Left 1:15, arr camp 2:45. Set out camera 200 yards above camp on S side of stream. Used chicken parts as bait. Done by 5. Checked camera 7:30 this am. No shot - bait untouched. Arr. Roadside Roadside 9:30 and spotted what certainly appears to be a gigantic lodge at lower area of "bend" area. The snow is melted off its North-facing slope! Big pond is around this lodge + water is high in genl. Don't know how I've missed this lodge before. 9:50 took B&W of small dam + pond 322-exp, Royal P. Much cutting & a large series of dams at Bend.
