U.colony started the first re-run of last summer's aspen samples. Since I didn't take the diameters last summer, I extrapolated back to what they then were. Think this is fairly accurate. This summer every tree was marked and in some cases trees not included in last year's plot (due to poor control of the mapping in the field) were included in the plot this year (or vice versa). In these cases, last year's record is amended to correspond with what it would have been on this year's plots. The difference between the two years are relatively small A 4-roch monument at a way mark, as reconstructed in this respect.
