Checked the one trap set last night- no R'slide beavers. Start of the pumping & draining of a beaver pond today. Broke thru dams #4, 15 & 16 to divert water & permit pumping of pond color #14. 9:45 2 shots above & below dam 16 & one of pond from just above dam at 25.6 exp. 10:05 one shot of break in dam to show extent of destruction (down to gravel) exp. 24. Moved all 4 of my traps up from below to vicinity of pumping&draining ops. 3:45 shot of pond #16 at 27 exp. to show lower water level. After supper came back, set 3 traps, one above each dam break & the flash trap across the upper break. Watched the Aug 3 break till midnight; no action.// Checked camera & traps at 8- absolutely no results. 4 PM tried to relocate asp samples but could not locate N end of "A" or "C" and found no trace of either end of "B". Left 5PM.
