Much cutting on this slope. 4:05 flushed 4 grouse near station N"on S side in a low area of small aspen & Wy- ethia. They flew upstream in a fairly level line of flight. Left 4:15 July 29 Betty & I drove all the way up to U.colony Upper Colony in Dick Gard's jeep, arriving at 10 AM. Clear, calm & hot.
