Weather very raw and cold all day with an honest to Rock snow storm during the afternoon, clearing skies toward June 10 supper and very cold. 5:45 A.M. went about 2 mile down the road to Frank & shot 2 fox sparrow, a spot- ted towhee and a warbling vireo. Saw the usual birds and a sapsucker as well and a couple of House wrens in song. Back by 9. In eve set 14 of the 38 traps on the salus slope E of camp, baited the other 24 where they were.
