Has a churring scold note. This area from shack on to + a little below AA is the most active section. 2' garter snake under asp. logs 15' from stream. Main pond 11 A.M. Not much evidence of recent cutting in immediate vicinity yet a consid- erable pile of peeled asp. logs floating near lodge. Top of lodge has some fresh asp logs, one 6 leaves. One 6" and a 7" tree were cut near lodge in main pond recently. 11:30 W. b. with itch for- aging on L' pole just below dam. A few cutttings below main dam but insig- nificant.
