Roadside colony Waxwing in tall pine, creeper farther down in l pole. Considerable new cutting of large aspen below main roadside colony on "bend" of trail. New dams too - really thriving. Took shot of the lowest of newly- worked stand from path at 10:30, exp 24.5.
h.Colony. Upper end of Lower Colony. Took shot of the new lodge exp. 23.5 and a shot of streamside shade cuttings exp. 14 at 12:50.

U.colony On way up heard coyotes on the N ridge. A yyp or two at kiln mdw, whole chorus when at lower end of upper colony at 10 AM. 3 or 4 nut- crackers flying about among pines between ford + l. end of pond. Clickables too. Lodge covered ~ 8" of snow everywhere but on the S side which is bare. Not
