Some cutting of 1/2" Ceanothus on S. side. Chickadees feeding in+around l'poles. Considerable Ceanothus cutting by crossing tree on S. side. Tremendous feasting area of porcupines 25' down from my old tent- site. Littered c fir + pine branches + lots of droppings so fresh they were still slippery. In grove of red firs and both pines. More Ceanothus use farther down and the ground was trampled for in an area of 6' indian, just to get at the Ceanothus. Aspens immediately adjacent were untouched. On the N side a new dam 10' long has gone up across the N. channel where one of my willow strips started. This is above AB5 tree + below main dam. Still mother new dam 25' farther up. 3:10PM, Robin
