This bird also flew out at 11:35 + was replaced in the hole by another brown-headed bird. I have assumed these to be tree swallows but Dr. Miller thinks v.g.'s more logical. Will have to make sure. 11:45 a small bird (Chippy?) flew from a nest constructed in a pocket in the earth field in the up-ended roots of a large fallen L-pole just above July 18 the Kilm Meadow-ford.
