Smaller branches from Fishelman's tree just beginning to be used by bear. A hole in the ground next to water's edge was found a little way upstream from sta. 36. Upper Rockslide saw a nutcracker fly over, calling, 9:55 Watched a 9" brown lynx the bear house for 5 minutes in the same place where I watched those 8 & 9 inches this summer. The house shows much evidence of recent plastering and the mud slide on one side of it is still wet. Hushed doe fawn which ran up opposite bank. Lower rockslide colony. Saw creeper working up pine.
