Cutting sounds still audible near where first beaver was but get- ting too dark to see. Left seat at 7:35 and walked back to camp. Heard coyotes yapping at SE end of Kilu Meadow at 8:10 PM. Clear, calm + cold Oct 11 in evening. Upper colony 10 AM. Clear and warm after a cold night (but 30).
