Sept 4. 6:57 one cutting between crossing & chan- nel dam. 7:00, one beaver took a lot of cuttings over to bridge cove to feed on them. 7:10 he crossed back over to where he was before and cut a few more and dove at 7:12. Think this was the "monster". 7:16 one seen in chan- nel & swam down to dive opposite bridge cove, 7:18 one cutting & eating between crossing & channel dam. 7:25 beaver appeared in pond opposite little red, swam up & dove into house. Left 7:30. Sept 6 3 PM fresh mud, still damp, has been plastered on house. Much dried mud already plastered. 6:20 PM Big Snag seat "below lower rockslide colony.
