One cutting on NE side of snag isl. also 7:35. 7:36 kit comes from house & goes to feeding spot where he cuts a willow while stand- ing on tiptoes, eats same in shallows. Kits don't venture as far from water as do yearlings & adults. Beaver at snag isl also feeding. 7:38 a large one appears near twin pines, crosses swims up to spit, dives, sur- faces, floats, then dives into house. 7:40 kit cutting some more. Snag isl beaver splashing around in shallows. 7:42 one appears from house to dive & disappear under deadfall. Meanwhile kit has gone. 7:43 one in N. fork (snag islander?). 7:45 one appears at little red and goes up to dive at spit. Another appears from channel dam & does same.
