J.G.Hall 1952 41 Sagehen Creek, 3 mi. NW Hobart Mills, Nevada Co., Calif. July 25 trampled down between it and water. Climbed huge l'pole nearly affording good view of this area. One new 1-inchers, three 2-inchers and four 3-inchers newly cut here since my paint-job. Took photo of nine-incher & left at 10:30 AM. 4:30 PM came back to newly-girdled 9- incher set up camera for re- mote control from big l'pole & left for kozfwamii. Returned 6:15 ; weather overcast & threatening, climbed tree & waited till 9 PM for beaver to return to cutting. No swap. Left at 9 after resetting camera for flash- trap. Got photo of beaver sometime in the night.
