Journal Hafner, M.S. 1978 Tres Rios, Prov. Cartago, Costa Rica. 8 July We released the single individual as we (cont) had captured several more last night. We drove back through Cartago to the gopher locality. No activity. I talked with a local camperino who told me that there were numerous "Taltuzas" near Santa Rosa (marked Santa Rita on at least one of our maps). We were very discouraged with the lack of activity at this site, so we pulled traps and headed for Santa Rosa.
