Journal Hafuer, M.S. 1977 I km. N Sigueros, 50 m., Sinaloa, Mexico. 19 July (cont) returned to the ruins with a bat net and poles. There was an old "pond" behind the house which still had a water supply from some unknown source. We noted turtles (6-8" dia. carapace) and a large bullfrog within. We set up one mist net at the western entrance to a 30 ft. cave. Jct then entered the southern entrance and flushed the bats. We managed to catch only 1 bat (Artibeus). Aerial View of bat locality.
