13 July this Evening.. I haven't been feeling well all day - and the running around and the heat and humidity are really bothering me!! Regardless, we decided to finish our chores then return to the travel agency to call home.
1600 we washed our clothes at a local laundromat. course, (of the machines use american money: 35¢). The heat was sweltering inside the laundromat!
1700 had a light dinner at a local restaurant. We then drove out of town (W) in search of a trailer court Ted Pappenfus had recommended - we couldn't find it. 1745 Returned the the travel agency - called home. All is well and I am very pleased.
1900 Drove south from La Paz to a point miles south of San Pedro in and camped near a wash. We noted a large bat (Lasiurus?) feeding overhead as we retired early,

14 July 0530 awoke. WE noted many gopher diggings in the area so we began to set out our MacAbees. The holes were plugged quite well and the ground was either hard rocks our very soft sand making digging quite a problem. John caught an animal here (gopher?).
0700 pulled our few sets and drove
