of 16 specimens. We decided not to put-up the specimens until tomorrow, and since it was already almost dark, we put-off trapping until tomorrow night - we figured we'd use tomorrow to catch-up on everything.
2000 - we drove south to the outskirts of San Quintin where found a "nice" restaurant for dinner - actually a rather shabby place, but the best around. We each had the bifeek can papas dinner (30.00 pesos = $1.25) and a few beers - very good food. We avoided the vegetables, but sure enjoyed the rest. The steaks are typically pounded to about 1/4" thickness (to tenderize) - still very tasty.
2130 we drove back to Colonia Guerrero, showered and retired.

0630 arose late this morning - we needed the rest and we didn't have any traps to check. We spent the AM preparing skins.
1330 we cleaned up the room and headed just outside of town to find the localities for trapping tonight (and finishing our catching-up?). We camped on a low,
