Line 1 - Larrea wash - sparse, rocky. Line 2 - harrea flats - occasional Mesquite tree. Line 3 - Vegetated, stable dunes Line 4 - Sparse, drifting dunes. We noted several small bats (Pipistrellis?) foraging overhead as we set line # 2. We drove back to camp and, after dinner, retired early. Very warm, muggy night -- slept w/o a bag.
