Windy day - we flew Barry's kite and put the large balloon up again. Later in the morning Darcy and I took some vegetation measures. Emily certainly takes well to the desert. She knows to walk between bushes rather than over them - good practice for snake times. 1700 I set out an additional 100 Museum specials, 50 on each side of the road parallel to the previous trap lines. (1 trap/station) Dry Lake. ↑ North lines 50' apart Line 1A west Line 1A East - 50 stations 1 trap/station Line 1 West Line 1 East - 50 stations 2 traps/station original line 1 Navy 25 → I reset the previous lines (1 East and 1 West) but did not re-bait them - a mistake I later found out. (4 of 5 animals captured were in the freshly baited traps of lines 1A E-W).
