20 September 0930- finished picking-up all traps. Took tissue
and stomachs (from Micro's) - and tissue only from
all other animals (= 50 animals) and froze
carcasses.
1200- Departed locality and drove via Tonapah,
Hawthorn, Reno and Donner Pass to Richard.
Rain storms around Reno. John and Patti
Hahner are collecting N of Pyramid Lake

Sagehen Creek, 3 mi. NW Hobart Hills, Nevada Co., California
Departed Berkeley with Hatt# Mammalogy Class
(22 students) and drove via Hwy 80 to Truckee.
Turned N on Hwy 68 and arrived at Sagehen
Creek Field Station. Set out various traps near
Hwy 68 and Sagehen Creek at a locality 2.7 mi. N,
1.4 mi. W Hobart Hills. (10 gopher sets in meadow
adjacent to creek and 4 students set out 30
museum specials apiece in various habitats. Warm,
clear day. Also set 60 Museum specials in the
chaparral hillside just east of the Hwy.
