Total: Night check (2300): 24 Micro's 10 P. longi. 4 P. manic. and 4 Dipodomys sp. Morning Check (0700): 5 Micro's 2 P. longi. 2 P. manic. Grand total: 55/ ≈ 20% 358 1 Onychomys torridus 3 Dipodomys Apparently most of the activity occured before 2300 hrs. The moon rose at 0200 which may inhibit later activity - however at this and the Penoyer Valley locality I have captured a live Micro. in the morning in a snap trap (by the tail.) As they usually don't live too long when caught by the tail, I assume that the animal was active just before sunrise.
