#1 - level - in cleared land (~10 yrs ago): dense veg. Many Plant A - many Plant E also Artemisia? few large bushes (to 0.5M) of Plant C. Many Plant H to 0.8 M. Space annual cover.

Many Juniperus sp. invading area, (to 2M).
Closest Juniperus 5M away. Burrow depth 100 mm.
Pinyon-Juniper woodland on both E and W Spanish hillsides. Very large Walnuts (Nogales) along Creek.
#2 - Slope 6M from creek. Dense veg. Many Plant A Few Plant B and Bar F. Large Walnuts and J. deppana nearby ~10 M away. Burrow depth 80 mm. Space ground cover. Elderberry bush (3M) 8 M away. Rosa bushes in general area. Small Gambel Oaks 8M away.
